CAMBRIDGE, June 14, Digit Wireless announced that
it has raised $1.8 million from undisclosed individual investors.
Digit Wireless is a technology development and licensing
company focused on advanced ergonomic interfaces for devices
such as mobile phones.
ANDOVER,
June 15, InsightShare, a provider of collaborative
customer relationship management (CRM) software and services,
announced that it has raised $13.8 million in private funds
for the launch of its software product, Customer Collaboration.
Investors in the company include The Forum Corporation and
Pearson PLC along with other undisclosed investors.
WESTBOROUGH,
June 18, Pactolus Communication Software, Inc., a
provider of XML-based enhanced service solutions for SIP-enabled
networks, announced the completion of its second round of
funding, totaling $6 million. Commonwealth Capital Ventures
led the round, with YankeeTek Ventures and Mid-Atlantic
Venture Funds also participating. Pactolus enables service
providers to create their own XML-based applications through
a graphical, software component interface. Pactolus also
offers pre-packaged services such as prepaid calling card,
conference calling and toll free number services for deployment
in SIP-enabled networks.
WAKEFIELD, June 18, Boston Medical Technologies,
a provider of office and hospital-based, non-invasive systems
for measurement of heart rate variability (HRV), completed
a third round of financing totaling $22.6 million. The company's
initial and second round investors participated in the round
along with new investors TSG Equity Partners and the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Foundation Investment
Fund, Inc. The company has raised $38 million since July
1998.
WALTHAM, June 19, Empirix Inc., a provider of test
and monitoring solutions for Web, voice and network applications,
secured $15 million in second-round capital funding from
its original investment group, including Matrix Partners.
Empirix was formed late 2000 by combining Hammer Technologies
and RSW Software (both former Teradyne subsidiaries).
BOSTON,
June 19, Concentric Visions, Inc., a provider of rich
media content management software, closed $8.1 million in
venture financing from Sigma Partners and GrandBanks Capital.
Concentric will use the funds to enhance its corporate visibility,
develop partnerships, and expand the company's market presence.
Concentric Visions' series B financing follows first round
investments from I-Group/HotBank and Internet Business Capital
(IBCC).
BEDFORD, June 19, SupplyWorks, Inc., a provider of
supplier relationship management (SRM) solutions founded in
1996, raised $19.2 million in equity capital in a second round
of financing, bringing the company's total funding to more
than $26 million. New investor Longworth Venture Partners
led the round, joining with previous investors North Bridge
Venture Partners and Atlas Venture, and new investor, Spinner
Global Technology Fund, Ltd.
BURLINGTON,
June 19, NetView Technologies, a provider of commissions
management and sales-decision support software, received
an undisclosed amount of financing from Charles Tillett,
former CFO of NetScout, as part of a $500,000 seed-funding
round. The funding will be used to continue product and
partner development. In April, the company announced that
Matt Carroll, a director at RedLeaf Group Venture Partners,
invested in its seed round.
